Well Attended and Received AGM

R.U.S.A. wishes to thank the 33 people ( officers, committee members and guests) who attended the recent A.G.M. (26.3.14) hosted by the RFU at Twickenham and who made contributions to make a successful event. Thank you for the 9 who sent apologies.

Presentations were given by Matchsavers (see resources) in relation to pitch protection/development, Panache fire re flares/pyrotechnics(now on website members-documents), S.G.S.A, RWC/ /ER2015 and LED Screen Hire/PRL. In relation to the last presentation considerable safety considerations were raised from the floor and feedback given,further points of consideration were requested by the Chairman.(subsequently received)
Case study contingency plan implementation in reaction to real events was given by Harlequins, Saracens, Leicester and Gloucester.

Such was the range of other safety issues being discussed as per the agenda that the meeting 'timed out'. Officers and committee together with members will continue in addressing these issues on behalf of RUSA.
Meeting minutes will be put the members website.

Officers remained the same with Andy Fraser as existing committee member. Andy Tresias, Northants was formally voted onto committee as was Guy Naylor from Leeds who is now the northern rep.
Members are reminded that annual subs are now due.
