Warwick CastleIt is nationally reported in April 2012 that the operator of Warwick Castle has been fined £350,0009(plus legal costs £145,000) for breaking health and safety laws after a grandfather fell to his death from a bridge. An  environmental health officer with the local council officer stated that the fatal accident was forceeable and should not have occurred if a suitable and sufficient risk assessment had taken place. This draws the attention of the operators of sites open to the public to the need to undertake proper risk assessments and implement the measures necessary to protect visitor safety
