saracens rfcSaracens announce the appointment of Andy Fraser as their new Safety Officer for Allianz Park, their new 10,000 capacity home on the Barnet Copthall estate in Hendon, London NW4.

The new £20m East Stand with its indoor 60m indoor running track and long jump pit, which are cleverly transposed into the match day concourse by the use of modern athletics surfaces, are integrated into a whole stadium with the 50 year old athletics stand, which is undergoing a refurbishment, and 5,000 demountable seats.

The eclectic mix of old and new brings with it unusual challenges in terms of the crowd dynamics around the stadium, but we are looking forward to the opening Premiership fixture against Exeter Chiefs on the 16th February 2013. A schools fixture and an LV Cup game against Cardiff Blues will allow us to chart the progress of the stadium management before the opening Premiership fixture, as the stadium and its operational management team begin their new life together.
