Henley Hawks is a rugby union club based in Henley-on-Thames and is one of the leading rugby clubs in the Thames Valley. (London Irish play their matches at the Madejski Stadium but their headquarters are still at Sunbury, Surrey where all their junior teams are based). Henley are champions of National League 2 South and will play in the third tier of the English rugby union system, the National League 1 in season 2015–16
Henley Rugby Club was founded in 1930 as Old Henleiensians.
Over the years the club has built a reputation of providing a first class venue for everyone in the town and beyond to enjoy their rugby. From mini members and their parents to our Friday Club who help with the upkeep and maintenance; from our successful women’s team to our highly professional Hawks outfit in the national leagues, we are a club that is built on clear foundations of contribution to the local community and a place where everyone is welcome and enjoys a good time.
